About Us

The Baltimore Coin Club was organized in 1935 and originally incorporated in 1936. The club is the oldest continually operating coin club in Maryland. The Baltimore Coin Club has a history of  esteemed numismatists as members.  This history includes Louis Eliasberg, Walter Breen, Frank G. Duffield, and others.

The Baltimore Coin Club is a life member of the American Numismatic Association (LC #! and 1000043), as well as a charter member of the Maryland State Numismatic Association.  The club is also a founding member of the Baltimore Area Numismatic Coalition (BANC).

The Baltimore Coin Club participates in the 3 Annual Whitman Baltimore Coin and Collectibles shows. We manage the registration process for all attendees at these shows.

Additionally, the club has a young numismatist program and supports youth participation in the hobby.

The Baltimore Coin Club maintains an extensive library covering all areas of the numismatic hobby. Club members have borrowing privileges for all library items.
